Walking Around The Mountain – by Sue Herzog

Do you ever wonder why you do the same thing over and over again?

Things you don’t enjoy – e.g. job, family crisis, whatever your friends want to do but you don’t want to. You don’t speak up, and continue moving in circles.

When I was growing up that was called walking around the mountain. We thought that everybody else did it, but not us. The funny thing is that one day you may realize that you, too, are circling the mountain and the path you are walking on has become a trench – a really deep one making the mountain taller, and you don’t know how to get out of the trench. I did that. Wow, did I do that.

But the epiphany didn’t change anything. I still kept walking around the mountain, only now I knew I was, and that was frustrating and made me annoyed with myself, and others. I tried many things to make a change and finally discovered coaching. What a difference! I am now a certified coach, and work with like-minded professionals who are all available to help you with your goals.

We want to help you to stop walking around the mountain and see the choices you can make and find the strength to make changes.

Interested in finding out if coaching is for you? We offer one free session to ask questions and try it out. It may be the answer you need to get started on your journey to change.

Here is a song I wrote. Sing it using the tune Here We Go Round the Mountain Again.

Here I go round the mountain again, the mountain again, the mountain again.
Here I go round the mountain again everyday and every night
I don’t know how to make a change, make a change, make a change.
I don’t know how to make a change, everyday and every night.
What if I try coaching now, coaching now, coaching now.
What if I try coaching now, something different for me to try.
